Dylan Silver is a California-based journalist, photographer, and communications strategist whose work spans outdoor storytelling, brand partnerships, and digital media. With a passion for exploring and documenting the natural world—from sailing across the Pacific to photographing the depths of Lake Tahoe—his writing and photography have been featured in outlets such as Outside Magazine, Vice, USA Today, and Tahoe Quarterly. As the author of Clarity: A Photographic Dive Into Lake Tahoe’s Remarkable Water, Dylan brings a unique blend of narrative craft and visual creativity to every project. In addition to editorial work, he collaborates with leading brands including Patagonia, Airbnb, Amazon, and the U.S. Forest Service, providing services that range from photography, strategic planning and SEO-driven content development to social media management. Dylan holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from San Francisco State University and a master’s in journalism from the University of Nevada, Reno. With more than a decade of experience in journalism and media, Dylan combines sharp reporting and compelling storytelling with a modern toolkit of communications and project management skills. He is currently based in Pioneer, California where he enjoys fly fishing, snowboarding and gardening with his family.
